July Project Showcase: A Closer Look at Flooring Excellence by Maddan Group
At Maddan Group, flooring isn’t just about what you walk on—it’s about setting the tone for the entire guest experience. This month, we’re proud to spotlight a few standout projects where our flooring solutions have brought design visions to life, starting with two recent corridor installations that highlight the exceptional quality and aesthetic power of Encore’s Colorpoint carpet.
Corridor Elegance at 188 Doris & 1 Glen Park
Our recent corridor installations at 188 Doris and 1 Glen Park demonstrate how the right flooring can transform shared residential spaces into refined, durable environments. Both projects feature Encore ColorPoint carpet, a premium solution-dyed nylon product known for its vivid color retention, high-definition patterns, and superior resistance to wear. Unlike traditional carpets that bury yarn ends and sacrifice density, ColorPoint uses full-gauge construction to maintain both durability and design clarity.
At 188 Doris, the installation was completed in partnership with Tri Can Contract. The bold, tailored patterns bring life and structure to the residential corridors, balancing functionality with modern aesthetics.
Meanwhile, 1 Glen Park was brought to life by Wiklem Design + Build, who chose ColorPoint to complement the property’s elegant interior palette. The result is a corridor space that not only withstands high foot traffic but also elevates the everyday experience of residents and guests alike.
Spotlight on Past Projects
The Westin Trillium House – Blue Mountain, ON
At The Westin Trillium House in Blue Mountain, Ontario, we had the opportunity to supply a mix of ColorPoint and Infinity carpet solutions for guest rooms, suites, and corridors. The property’s clean, elevated design was guided by Mackay Wong Strategic Design, who selected products that would harmonize with the resort’s natural surroundings while offering the performance needed for hospitality spaces.
Holiday Inn St. Catharines
The Holiday Inn St. Catharines highlights our dedication to durable, high-performance flooring solutions. In this vibrant property, we installed HDDI Nylon Print carpet in the event spaces for added warmth, texture, and a touch of energy. Luxury vinyl tile (LVT) was placed in the guest rooms, offering a sleek, modern look with easy maintenance. The design was led by Design Link International—now owned by X Design—whose thoughtful approach balanced everyday comfort with the demands of large-scale events.
Omni Severin Hotel – Indianapolis, IN
In downtown Indianapolis, the iconic Omni Severin Hotel underwent a stylish guest room update featuring Infinity carpet, selected for its plush feel and elegant visual texture. Designed in partnership with Omni Hotels & Resorts, the flooring refresh preserved the hotel’s historic charm while adding a layer of quiet luxury to the interiors.
Harbour Sixty – Toronto, ON
Finally, at Harbour Sixty in Toronto—one of the city’s premier fine dining destinations—we worked alongside Fleur De Lis Interior Design to source and supply Axminster Express flooring. From the bar area to the dining room, every surface was selected to reflect the restaurant’s bold sophistication and enduring elegance.
Why Flooring Matters More Than Ever
In hospitality, multi-family, and mixed-use developments, flooring is where style meets substance. It must perform under pressure—resisting wear, stains, and constant use—while contributing to a cohesive, memorable design. From boutique hotels and upscale residences to lively event venues, the right flooring can elevate the guest experience and leave a lasting impression.
At Maddan Group, we’ve specialized in sourcing and supplying premium flooring solutions since 1993. Our curated selection of carpets, LVT, and other design materials—paired with strong industry partnerships—allows us to support designers, developers, and architects in bringing bold visions to life.
Let’s build something beautiful together.
